Seeing Big Ben + Peter Pan in one day = Painful feet and legs! :(

Hiya once again

I am half way through my second day in the London, and although I have only spent two days in London, this day is by far the most tiring day I have had yet. The day started off with a nice breakfast provided by the hotel and would be followed by a walk that would seem to go on forever.

We first headed off for Trafalgar Square, in order to pose in front of the Lions on Nelson's Column, which everybody with strong enough arms and legs does, and witnessed a man on the One and Another Statue (aka a weird excuse for an art project) dressing up as a women and then as a yellow Angel of the North or weird looking yellow eagle depending what angle you saw him from.

We then headed down to Buckingham Palace, to see whom I believe to be Prince William recieve a real escort to his massive home, and witnessed the Changing of the Guard to see once again lots of Japanese tourists with their cameras :) and some men in fancy and nice looking uniforms head straight into the Palace. It was good but the wait was not really worth it for me and my mum considering we have seen things like this too many times before.

We then headed to Kensington Gardens and saw the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain :) and the Peter Pan Statue, with the Peter Pan Statue exceeding our expectations, although I personally think the statue makes Wendy look as if she is peeking up his pants ... but oh well :) lol

We then took the long walk back to Buckingham Palace, and headed off to Big Ben and Westminster Bridge, and found out why so many people must get sick of constantly having to duck to avoid ruining another photo shot of someone in front of Big Ben. We then headed to Downing Street to find it heavily sealed off to us, which surprised my mum as she was able to walk to up and down the street 30 years ago.

We then headed back home to rest our feet and legs, and are now about to head off for tea and to ge and see Sister Act, which I hope is worth it's expensive price even though it is a musical being performed in the West End. Anyways must be off now, Mummy Lamb is breathing down my neck

Stay Happy
